TOLEDO NEXT FOR UNDEFEATED BUCKS
Minor League Soccer Team To Take On Slayers 7:30pm At Hurley Field On Wednesday

Following Sunday's postponed match (due to weather) against the Cleveland Internationals, the Michigan Bucks (2-0-1) return to action tomorrow night at home against the Toledo Slayers (2-2). The Cleveland game has been tentatively rescheduled for Wednesday, July 7th. Kick-off this Wednesday is at 7:30pm at Hurley Field in Berkley and tickets will be available at the gate for $9 (adult) and $5 (under 19 years old). While Michigan remains unbeaten, their 1-1 tie with Fort Wayne proved costly as the Boulder Rapids Reserves and the Chicago Fire Reserves secured the two U.S. Open Cup spots allotted for the 17-team Central Conference of the Premier Development League (PDL) by winning all four of their respective qualifying matches.

"I am sure that Boulder and Chicago will represent the PDL well in the Cup and we sincerely wish them the best," said Bucks coach, Don Gemmell. "We are disappointed that we did not qualify, but we have our entire season ahead of us, with our ultimate goal (a PDL championship) still in focus," said Bucks head coach, Don Gemmell. "Every game in this league is important and we have a lot of work to do just to make the playoffs." Only the top two teams from the seven-team Great Lakes Division qualify for the PDL playoffs at the end of July. Great Lakes Division teams will play a 16-game schedule this season.
