The St. Louis Strikers ended the Mid Michigan Bucks unbeaten streak at six with a 2-1 win at Berkley's Hurley Field. The Bucks (5-1-1) out-shot the Strikers 13-5 and led in corner kicks 13-4, but could not get more than one past keeper Josh Schrek. Following a scoreless first half, St. Louis struck first as Kyle Hopson one-timed a shot past Bucks goalie, Jeff Wiese at the 67-minute mark. The Bucks answered with a score by Knox Cameron in the 70th minute on an assist from Paul Snape. Ian Outrucci finished the scoring in the 84th minute, as Kevin Quigley notched his second assist of the match.

Goals: STRIKERS - Hopson (Quigley assisting, 67th min.); BUCKS - Cameron (Snape, 70th min.); STRIKERS - Outrocci (Quigley, 84th min.).

US OPEN CUP MATCH IN DETROIT
The Bucks will be hosting a Round Two match against the D-3 Pro League Champion Long Island Rough Riders in the US Open Cup, the country's premier soccer tournament which gives lower level teams like the Bucks a shot at the top pro division squads, on Wednesday, June 25th at Hurley Field in Berkley. Tickets will be $9 for adults and just $5 for kids (under 19) in uniform at the gate on game-day. Fans may also reserve tickets at these prices in advance by emailing the Bucks at

BUCKS HOST GAMES THIS WEEK AT BERKLEY AND PLYMOUTH-CANTON
The Bucks' next game at Hurley Field in Berkley is this Wednesday, June 11th at 7:30pm vs. the West Michigan Edge, with tickets costing just $9 at the gate. Discounted tickets are available from the Berkley Parks and Recreation Department (248-837-8221) and at Bucks ticket outlets throughout the metropolitan Detroit area.
