Coaching Staff

Dan Fitzgerald, Head Coach

Dan Fitzgerald enters his second season as Bucks Head Coach.  Prior to taking the helm, Fitzgerald had served as an assistant coach since 2002 and coached the Bucks reserve team in 2005.  A 1984 graduate of Oakland University with a degree in communication arts, Fitzgerald served as men's assistant coach at his alma mater from 1987-1989.  He also has coached for the Michigan Boy's Olympic Development Program, the Vardar Soccer Club, and the Rochester Select Soccer Club.    

In addition, Fitzgerald has served as the boys soccer coach at both Rochester High School and Clarkston High School.

A Granite City, IL native, Fitzgerald was a four-year starter for Oakland University from
1980-1983 and was the team captain his senior season.
 

Brett Jacobs, Assistant Coach

Jacobs began his collegiate playing career in Mobile, Alabama at the University of South Alabama. His playing experience also includes the Mobile Revelers of the USISL, Eastern Indoor Professional League, Cape Cod Crusaders and the Atlanta Silverbacks Reserves. In England he played with the Fleet Town Football Club, Corinthian Casuals, and the Kingstonian Football Club. 

He has extensive coaching experience, serving as assistant coach for the Wycombe Wanderers Football Club U19 team, Academy Coach for the Wimbledon Football Club U10, U12, U14, and U19 teams, State Development Coach for the Massachusetts Youth Soccer Association, while also serving as a Staff Coach for Region I of US Youth Soccer. Jacobs also served as the Academy Director for Massachusetts Pro Soccer Inc., assistant coach at the University of West Florida, and Director of Player Development for the Pensacola Soccer Complex.

Jacobs is the current Director of Coaching for the Michigan State Youth Soccer Association.
