CLEVELAND GAME HAS PLAYOFF IMPLICATIONS
Insiders Get $2 Off Adult Tickets To Wednesday's Game

With three teams in the Great Lakes Division sporting only three or four losses, the battle for the two divisional playoff spots will likely come down to the wire this year. The Michigan Bucks (6-3-2, 20 points) currently trail the Fort Wayne Fever (9-3-1, 28 points) and the Indiana Invaders (9-4-0, 27 points), but have two more games (five) to play than both opponents. The minor league soccer teams are awarded three points for a win and one point for a tie, while playing a 16-game regular season. All of which makes tomorrow night's match with the Cleveland Internationals at Hurley Field in Berkley (7:30pm) critical. The game is a make-up from May 23rd match that was postponed due to lightning.

"We obviously don't have any room for error at this point," said Bucks second-year coach, Don Gemmell. "But I like our team and we believe we can still qualify." The team rebounded from last week's overtime loss to Fort Wayne and tie to Kalamazoo with a convincing 6-3 win at the Indianapolis Blast on July 4th. Simon Omekanda (Rochester) and J.J. Kabwe (Zimbabwe) each had two goals for the Bucks, while Ryan Rzepka (Novi) and Erik Nelson (Dearborn) added one apiece. "We have had so many chances this year without cashing in. Hopefully, this last game broke us out of our season-long scoring slump," said Gemmell. The team follows Wednesday's game with a trip to Fort Wayne on Friday.

DISCOUNT WEDNESDAY NIGHT AT HURLEY
Bucks' "Insiders" may use this release as a $2-off coupon, good for each adult in their group tomorrow, Wednesday, July 7th (regularly $9 each). Simply print out this page and bring to the gate. All Youth (under 19) tickets remain just $5. Hurley Field is located behind Anderson Middle School in Berkley, which is on Catalpa between Coolidge and Greenfield roads. Kick-off is at 7:30pm. The Bucks return to Hurley next Wednesday, July 14th for their final regular season home game, against the West Michigan Edge (7:30pm kick).
